Mary Deligianni is the head of the data protection and cybersecurity practice of Zepos & Yannopoulos. 

Mary has extensive experience in advising on issues relating to data protection, cybersecurity and new technologies. She leads data privacy compliance programs, advises on the handling of data breach incidents, conducts risk assessment exercises, designs and implements data transfers outside the EU, drafts and negotiates complex data processing and outsourcing agreements, conducts privacy and security due diligence in connection with share and asset deals and delivers trainings to managers and employees on data protection compliance and data security. 

She regularly advises international and domestic clients on employment data protection issues, such as internal investigations, whistleblowing schemes and surveillance techniques, as well as on marketing campaigns and the operation of e-shops and smart apps. Her advice pertains to novel and complex issues on cloud-computing, connected devices and biometric databases, while she often interacts on issues of regulatory practice with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. 

Mary is the author of several global publications on privacy, data protection and cybersecurity and she frequently participates as a speaker in international and local conferences.
